Next door, downtown

Introducing Kalimera Bakery & Turkish Coffee.

Right next to the restaurant at 458 B Street, with its own entrance from the street, Kalimera is putting together a small Turkish coffee house and bakery. Same team, separate room. There's no opening date yet — this is an early look while the space comes together.

The room

A slower corner, built for sitting a while.

A fireplace, low seating, a record player — the idea is somewhere to sit with a small coffee and not be rushed out for the next table.

It's a separate room, but part of the same building as Kalimera, run by the same team.

Still coming together

Furnished in pieces, one corner at a time.

Old wine bottles turned into candle holders, a wall of bottles as decoration, a turntable in the corner — the room is being put together rather than delivered as a finished set.

Nothing here is final. Consider this a preview, not a menu you can order from yet.

For now

A record playing, a coffee going cold.

This is closer to what the room feels like than what's on the menu yet — a place to sit for the length of a record side.
